About Bees Knees

Why "The Bee's Knees"?

Ever wonder what it would feel like to train in a space that’s private, inclusive, and intentionally exclusive — a studio built so you can show up without intimidation, without comparison, and without feeling like you need to fit a mold to belong? What would your progress look like if you had a place that offered your time, your space, and the freedom to learn, lift, sweat, and grow with zero judgment… and full support? That is the heartbeat of Bees Knees Wellness. And inside these walls, clients don’t just “work out.” They move through a framework designed for real results: the B.E.E.S. Method™ — Balance, Endurance, Energy, Strength — a system that transforms bodies and mindsets by focusing on the way people actually live, age, recover, and evolve.

And what does Bees Knees bring to the table beyond the workout? Nationally recognized expertise. Programs shaped by presenting for the Fitness Industry Council of Canada, Impact Magazine, and contributing to industry-leading conversations across Canada and the U.S. Workshops and curriculum created for FitFixNow and the MedFit Professional Network. A studio where coaching is not the same as training. Training tells you what to do. Coaching helps you understand why it matters, how to do it well, and what needs to shift so your habits, strength, resilience, and mindset finally align. Coaching sees the whole human — goals, fears, stress, recovery, confidence — and creates a plan that fits the life you’re actually living.

If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t just push you harder, but coaches you smarter… a place that blends science, empathy, experience, and strategy… a place that helps you become the strongest, clearest, most capable version of yourself — Bees Knees Wellness is built for exactly that. Ready to see what you can do when you’re fully supported? Let’s begin.

About Fyonna

I’m not your average coach — I’m the woman who’s lived every version of strength there is. I’ve stepped on bodybuilding stages at the ages of 44-48 years old when so many people write off women, crossed Ironman finish lines 3 times, pounded out over 45 marathons, taken and delivered hits on the rugby field for 3 years representing Lakehead University at the Provincial level, laced up gloves in the boxing ring, and built a career on helping people rise after the world knocks them down. And trust me… I’ve failed more times than I can count. Failed forward. Failed sideways. Failed spectacularly. And every single one of those moments built the coach you get today — resilient, relentless, wildly compassionate, and laser-focused on helping YOU step into your power.

At Bees Knees Wellness, I bring all of that grit, science, movement mastery, and lived experience into every session. My B.E.E.S. Method™ isn’t just cute branding — it’s the blueprint I’ve used to rebuild myself again and again. Balance, Endurance, Energy, Strength — the four anchors I’ll help you lean into so you can stop starting over and finally see what you’re capable of. When you work with me, you’re getting a coach who has walked the hard roads, climbed the literal mountains, fallen, gotten back up, and knows how to guide you through your version of the climb. You don’t need perfect. You need momentum. You need truth. You need someone who believes in you before you remember how to believe in yourself. That’s what I do. That’s who I am. Let’s go.

Three stories.

Three reasons to believe it’s possible for you.

  1. "I didn’t think I’d ever feel strong again."
"When I hit my 50s, I didn’t recognize my own body anymore. The fatigue, the aches, the way my energy just disappeared—I thought, ‘Is this it now?’ Then I found Bees Knees. They listened to me, worked with my body, and helped me rebuild my strength. Today, I feel better than I did in my 40s." – Sarah

Does this sound like you? Menopause can be challenging, but with the proper support, you CAN feel strong, energised, and confident again.

  1. "Injury slowed me down, but I’m back and better than ever."
"I tore my rotator cuff and thought I’d never get back to the life I loved. Everything felt harder—even just getting through the day. But Bees Knees changed that. They helped me recover in a way that worked for ME. No pressure, no rush… just steady progress. Now, I’m stronger than ever and back to doing what I love." – Mike

Injuries can feel like a full stop, but they don’t have to be. Let’s help you get moving again—without pain holding you back.

  1. "Living with chronic illness doesn’t mean giving up."
"I’ve been living with arthritis for years, and it felt like every step was a battle. I thought I just had to accept it. But at Bees Knees, they gave me hope. They didn’t try to push me too hard or ignore my limits. Instead, they created a plan that actually worked for me. Now, I move easier, sleep better, and feel like myself again." – Linda

Living with a medical condition doesn’t mean you stop moving forward. You deserve a plan that’s gentle, adaptive, and made just for you.

P.S. You’re already awesome. Let’s make sure you FEEL that way, too!

Land Acknowledgement

At Bees Knees Wellness Muskoka, we honour and acknowledge that we live, work, and move on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, which includes the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi Peoples, united under the Three Fires Confederacy. This land is also part of the traditional and treaty territory of the Wahta Mohawks and the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, among others who have cared for and sustained these lands long before us.

This region—now called Bracebridge, in Muskoka—is rooted in a deep history of stewardship, ceremony, and kinship with nature, and we recognize the ongoing presence and contributions of Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island.

We are committed to learning from Indigenous knowledge systems, challenging the legacy of colonialism in the wellness and fitness space, and building relationships grounded in respect, reciprocity, and responsibility. This is more than words—it is a call to action to support Indigenous voices, businesses, and sovereignty.

We invite all who join us to take a moment to reflect on the land they occupy, to learn about its original stewards, and to consider how we can collectively honour the past while working toward a more inclusive and just future.
